J Nine, for supacool.studio, paints the mood one dot at a time: dense flower gardens or one subject at a time — a jellyfish, an octopus, a lotus, a leopard — in forms made of tiny equal dots, with the voids filled with polka dots, bright colours on a deep ground and one pigment that does not exist in nature. The mood decides light, weight and tension: nothing is there by chance.
